What is the material of popcorn sole

Popcorn sole is also called etpu sole, and the material is fully called polyurethane thermoplastic elastomer. The principle is to inflate like popcorn by holding each TPU (a wear-resistant and tear resistant thermoplastic elastomer material) particle at high temperature. In this process, the volume of particles with the original size of about 0.5mm will increase by about 10 times, so an elliptical non crosslinked foaming particle etpu containing micro sealed bubbles is formed, which looks like "popcorn".

Etpu not only has excellent elasticity, but also provides the required rebound effect and cushioning effect. It has a wide range of applications, such as runways, children's sports floors, shoe materials, insoles, pet balls, tires, climbing mats, etc.

1. Ultra light density: foamed TPU particles with a density range of 0.15-0.25g/cm3 can be prepared.

3. High wear resistance: the abrasion test value of foamed TPU material is less than 53mm3.

4. High folding resistance: the folding resistance of foamed TPU products is more than 200000 times.
